Online Collaboration between the Gauselmann Group and Tommy Haas

The Gauselmann Group is a family-run group of companies that operates internationally in the coin-op market and is the market leader in Germany for electronic amusement machines, AWP's and SWP's. The company headquarters are situated in the Eastern Westphalian town of Espelkamp in Germany. The main business sectors are the development, production and sales of amusement and gaming machines as well as money-handling systems, the arcade chain Merkur-Spielothek in Germany and Merkur Casino in Europe and furthermore operating betting offices and kiosks in the Italian sports betting market. By the end of the Gauselmann Group's 2008 financial year the global number of employees was 5,325. The company is currently training 178 apprentices in 14 different professions.

The group of companies has shown its commitment to sport for many years, for example with the local teams that play in the corresponding German federal leagues - the Espelkamp-Mittwald e.V. Tennis Club and TuS N-Lübbecke Handball Club - as well as many further local sports clubs that are active in regional divisions. Now the Gauselmann Group is supporting tennis star Tommy Haas via an online collaboration.

This co-operation came about thanks to the long-standing friendship between the tennis player and Paul Gauselmann, the Founder and Chairman of the Gauselmann Group. An essential characteristic unifies both sportsman and entrepreneur: both are internationally successful and enthuse the masses with their games.
